Some neighborhoods get a bad rap. While Hunter Franks was working with the city's Civic Innovation office, one of the most common requests was to change the city's perception of these residents' areas. Franks enlisted people in Bayview, Tenderloin, West Addition, and others to send postcards about why they loved their neighborhood to ritzier addresses around town.
